Is This Program Right for You?

Yoga Coach 300 is designed for experienced yoga teachers who are ready to deepen their knowledge, strengthen their teaching, and expand their leadership capacity.

This program may be a strong fit if you are ready to:

  • move beyond delivering classes and into developing people
  • deepen your understanding of yoga as a lived philosophy
  • strengthen your ability to observe, coach, mentor, and lead
  • receive feedback with openness and reflection
  • build a stronger professional identity as a teacher and leader
  • participate actively in discussion, practice, breakout groups, and practicum experiences

The goal is to grow as a teacher, coach, and leader.

What Makes Yoga Coach 300 Different?

Most advanced 300-hour trainings deepen knowledge through anatomy, philosophy, sequencing, ethics, methodology, and professional practice.

Yoga Coach 300 honors and builds upon those established standards while adding a layer many programs miss: the ability to develop people.

Participants deepen their understanding of yoga while learning how to guide learning, provide meaningful feedback, mentor teachers, build community, and lead with confidence.

By combining standards-based instructional design, coaching principles, observation strategies, leadership development, and real-world application, participants learn how to teach effectively and help others grow.

The goal is deeper knowledge in service of stronger teaching, stronger communities, and stronger leaders.

Program Format

Yoga Coach 300 is delivered through three live training weekends with intentional practice, reflection, and application between sessions.

The program follows the PSI Learning Arc:

Attune

Establish shared language, lineage, and intentional teaching.

Prepare

Develop observation skills, instructional awareness, and readiness for application.

Practice

Strengthen cueing, feedback, coaching, communication, and teaching skills.

Regulate

Explore breath, stillness, recovery, reflection, and sustainable growth.

Lead

Develop professional identity, leadership capacity, and the ability to guide others.

Integrate

Demonstrate competency through practicum, reflection, and application.

The time between weekends is intentional. Participants apply what they learn, reflect on their experiences, and return prepared for the next stage of development.

Why We Limit Enrollment

Enrollment is limited to 18 participants.

Participants work in small breakout groups of three, allowing for:

  • meaningful observation
  • peer teaching
  • real-time coaching
  • individualized feedback
  • stronger relationships
  • deeper discussion
  • intentional community building
Small cohorts allow participants to receive meaningful feedback, individualized support, and
direct access to the program director throughout the training.

This is a core feature of the program.

Requirements

Applicants should:

  • hold a recognized 200-hour yoga teacher certification
  • provide documentation from Yoga Alliance, AYC, or another recognized training organization
  • have teaching experience or be actively developing a teaching practice
  • arrive with openness to feedback, reflection, revision, and professional growth
  • participate fully in live sessions, breakout rooms, teaching labs, and practicum work

Applicants should bring a studio-ready presence, whether participating from a studio, home practice space, or prepared living room.

A safe, clean, well-lit space is enough.

Technology & Participation Requirements

Because this is an interactive online training, participants should have:

  • reliable internet access
  • working webcam and microphone
  • adequate lighting
  • yoga mat
  • space to move safely on camera
  • ability to upload videos when required
  • backup plan for technology interruptions

Participants should be prepared to teach, move, observe, discuss, reflect, and receive feedback on camera.

The goal is effective communication, purposeful teaching, and meaningful feedback.

Productive Struggle

This training is built on a simple belief:

Growth occurs when challenge is paired with support.

During this training, participants will:

  • receive feedback
  • revise their work
  • teach before everything feels fully polished
  • reflect on their decisions
  • adapt in real time
  • strengthen skills through guided practice

These moments are part of the learning.

Yoga Coach 300 is designed to help participants move through challenge with structure, support, reflection, and purpose.

Building Capacity Beyond the Studio

Yoga Coach 300 recognizes that skilled teachers often grow into mentors, trainers, program developers, community builders, content creators, and leaders.

Participants explore how strong teaching, standards-based instructional design, leadership, community building, and thoughtful use of technology can expand professional impact.

This program supports the capacity to teach, coach, mentor, lead, and create meaningful learning experiences for others.

As Productive Struggle Institute grows, future opportunities may emerge for experienced graduates to contribute as mentors, facilitators, and leaders within future cohorts and professional development initiatives.

About Linda Kal Sander

Linda Kal Sander, E‑RYT 500, is an educator, instructional coach, curriculum designer, yoga teacher trainer, and lifelong learner with more than four decades of experience helping students, teachers, and leaders grow through challenge, reflection, and practice.

Her professional journey has included classroom teaching, curriculum development, instructional coaching, authorship, yoga teacher training, and leadership development. Linda has contributed to nationally published educational materials, helped build yoga teacher training programs, led professional learning initiatives, and coached educators and yoga leaders as they developed their own programs, schools, and communities.

What unites all of Linda's work is a simple belief: meaningful growth occurs when challenge is paired with support.

She does not claim to have all the answers.

In fact, many of her most important lessons have come from asking better questions, learning alongside others, and remaining willing to revise her own thinking.

Productive Struggle Institute was created from that spirit of curiosity and continuous growth.

Because none of us is as smart as all of us.

Linda's work invites learners, teachers, coaches, and leaders to grow together while building stronger people, stronger communities, and stronger futures.
